was assigned to and flown by Air Guard units as it is a close suport aircraft. The plane is not sexy enough for the academy boys who like to flys fast movers. Besides the USAF thinks close support if bombing from 30,000 feet.

USAF A-10’s are unavailable to Israel until 20 January 2013.
