“... I have absolutely NO DOUBT that you are also wrong in God’s eyes.”

Wow, imagine that, ***St tsowellfan***.

You, ON BEHALF OF GOD HIMSELF, have me charged, tried, convicted and awaiting sentence.

SPEAKING FOR GOD. That’s beyond presumptive, I’m guessing. It might even be *blasphemy*; I’ll have to ask someone much more qualified than I, on that subject.

Those heavenly wings and that glowing halo you’re wearing must be very weighty, but I’m sure that you carry them very well.

“A lot of children will die because of your wrong.”

Don’t you dare to dump that crap line on me, pal! I committed no wrong regarding the Akin controversy, last time I checked. I merely said that people like you and so many others shouldn’t throw the man under a bus for making a mistake, correcting himself and apologizing. He is NOT “my candidate”; let’s get that straight, as well. I first heard of him on Monday (8/20) afternoon, the day after he gave the interview.

WHAT ***WRONG*** ARE YOU REFERRING TO, PLEASE? Can you rationally, rather than emotionally, answer that?

And your claiming to speak for God is probably not a good idea, those wings & halo notwithstanding. You and He will have that conversation, someday.

“Janet Reno” and “Waco”? Now you’re changing the subject and diverting the conversation, like Alinsky or a true liberal would do.

Please try to focus on the subject, at hand: Akin and his stupid statement - based on a long-since-discredited 70s theory from a dentist - and why he should/shouldn’t be forgiven for that grievous mistake, after correcting himself and apologizing.

See you around, ***St tsowellfan***.

(Your halo needs a recharge; better plug it in tonite...)

The GOP-e does exist. It is NOT ‘mythical’. It stands for GOP-establishment, and eschews Conservatives. It is a political entity unto itself, and is REAL.

The Bush family, Rockefeller family, Rove & Co, McCain and thousands of Mainstream Republicans are that entity.

Conservatives are a ‘fringe element’, and are mostly not welcome. Hence, The Tea Party. Remember them?

I never said the GOP-e controlled the NYSlimes or any LSM. But they, like their democrat counterparts, have their own political/social/religious etc agenda and germane talking points for each plank. And they circulate them and march in lockstep.

Look what they did to Palin, are doing to Bachmann, have done to Toomey and countless other Conservatives thru the years and decades. It’s legion. You probably know far more and better about it, than I do.

I’m NOT a ‘black helicopter’ or conspiracy nut theorist; far from it. I’m well-grounded in reality.

I worked for Nixon-Lodge in ‘59-’60 in Cook Cty, IL, and for the GOP in Buffalo and Miami, in the early/mid-70s (Nixon, Ford), and saw the GOP-ers come to town to make sure all was going according to party dogma. It was like the mafia dons coming around town to make sure it all was going according to their wishes.

I never said or intimated that the GOP-e controlled the world. Yes, it will be front and center news, thanks in part to the GOP-e wetting themselves by calling for Akin to quit, and the lib-dem-controlled LSM is now using that whining/crying to their daily advantage in the media.

Yes, it’s Akin’s idiotic statement and fault. Never said it wasn’t. It would have died a natural death had the GOP-e not piled-on in the massive way they did. Another issue would have easily replaced it as front page news. With the GOP Convention coming-up, it’s going to be a ‘news feast’ for the lib-dem-controlled media.

This has become another circular firing squad and circle-jerk, courtesy of the GOP-e.

The LSM can’t use any honest discussion about 0bummer’s record, as it’s so bad. They actively ignore/hide it. I’ve often said that the real power of the press is the power to ignore. So they have to use the ammo the GOP-e gives them: personal dirt, indiscretions, taxes, abortion... ANYTHING THEY CAN GET AHOLD OF EMBARRASS REPUBLICANS. Anything!

And it’s now been handed to them on a silver platter, with the mass screaming for Akin’s resignation.

I don’t endorse, support or condone stupidity, but I will and do forgive it after a truthful correction and honest apology. Unlike another poster on this thread, I DON’T SPEAK FOR GOD.

Instead of using 0bummer’s late-term infanticide/abortion stance and votes against him, the GOP-e has thrown Akin to the media, with all the howls and screams for his resignation, and gotten Romney’s taxes, dog, wife’s horse etc, off the front pages.

Don’t you see that?

I’m NOT an Akin supporter; I only heard of this issue on Monday afternoon, after coming in from errands and chores.

I used to be part of the GOP-e. I re-registered as a ***Conservative*** in 2006, at a PENNDOT driver’s license bureau, when getting a new pic taken, and finding “Conservative” listed under choice #5 Other.

Here’s my prediction: Aklin easily wins MO by 6-7pts. A HUGE number of voters have had it with the ‘politics of personal destruction’, on both sides, and will vote for him. McCaskill is burnt toast.

CNN tagged it correctly (imagine that), in the 2nd sentence:

Santorum lost Get over it. He was for Romney all along just like the dems bought and paid for Akin to be where he is today.

I’ve never said she was GOP-e, and always considered her to be a Conservative. I’ll have to reconsider that, in view of her call (though Sarah Steelman is a good candidate) for Akin to step down, and her calling for a 3rd party is political and national suicide. It’s a direct election for 0bummer. Remember Ross Perot in 1992, taking 20%+ from GHWB (GOP-e), by any chance?

The media is setting the agenda once again, and distracting us with “shiny things”.

I never said it did. I commented about his judging on behalf God’s Judgment. Read what he said, once again, more carefully.

I was never invested in Santorum; Gingrich neither. I really haven't been invested in any candidate from the GOP-e, since Reagan appeared on the national scene.

So now there's a lib-dem, "bought-and-paid-for" conspiracy involving Santorum and this Akin guy? I'd be interested in hearing more about that one...

Methinks that your halo's on too tight. Take one of these and get some rest.

This is what’s important; NOTHING ELSE.

Stop getting distracted by the “shiny things” that the media puts in front of you.

there are a number of important things - not just one - and most could be best handled by conservatives - if every conservative stood in a group of conservatives and shook our fists at the heavens about one thing - that would solve a lot

we know what is important - its not one issue - its electing people that can fix the issues - not electing one person - people

you want us to ignore akin and stand in that jerk circle shouting in unison about one thing - that accomplishes nothing - it will take control of the senate - so if shiny things are forced on us, we need to address them instead of ignoring them

No, but I think they’ve both drunk the e-Kool-Aid in this case. They’ve both seemingly lost sight of ***The Goal*** (WINNING IT ALL on NOV 6th) and have become distracted by ***The Method*** (”shiny things”) of getting there.

I heard Mark wax constitutional and emotional on Mon/Tue eves, but he’s too into the methodology/morals than the end-game result of it all.

Rush seems to vacillate somewhat (on this Akin case), with certain callers, but I’m getting interrupted too often during his broadcasts to hear his show segments straight thru, so perhaps that’s not a fair assessment. I don’t know where to get his (free) podcasts to re-listen, as I’m only catching fragments these past 3 days.

"you want us to ignore akin and stand in that jerk circle shouting in unison about one thing - that accomplishes nothing - it will take control of the senate - so if shiny things are forced on us, we need to address them instead of ignoring them"

Okay, once again. THE GOAL: WINNING IT ALL ON NOV 6TH. I've said a half-dozen times since this afternoon: ignore the *shiny things* the media is putting in front of us. This Akin distraction is one of them. Romney's tax returns were another. Romney's dog was another. Romney's wife's horse was another. The noogie/haircut Romney gave the kid in '65 was another (never actually happened).

They can't talk about the important points - the tanking economy & ongoing depression (not recession or recovery), rising unemployment, unnecessary deaths of our brave US Military in Crap-stan-trash-can, intentional WH/DoD national security leaks, muzzie infiltration at highest levels, ad infinitum, ad nauseum - because it would destroy 0bummer and give R&R a landslide on Nov 6th.

They're bombarding America with "diversions & distractions" and hiding the facts and truth.

The greatest power the media has is to ignore. And they're exercising that power unlike never before, by ignoring and hiding the true issues. They are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the lib-dem party, and bought-and-paid-for by its corrupt and criminal factions.

This Akin issue is a mere blip on the radar. The GOP has actively helped make it front page news. They are in the collective circle-jerk, once again, shooting their own and sparing the real enemy from an attack on the important issues.

The GOP has a sad history of snatching defeat from the laws of victory, and if we continue on this defensive posture/mode, we’re going to have more Dole and McCain results.
