Police: Suspicious items found on rooftop prior to RNC

Chief Castor takes questions about Friday's find. TAMPA (FOX 13) - Tampa police say they've confiscated suspicious items from a rooftop in Tampa in the buildup to the Republican National Convention.
The items included bricks and pipes, which were found along with anarchist-style graffiti Friday evening atop a business at 1000 North Florida Ave., which is at the corner of Florida Avenue and Tyler Street.
"We are appreciative that the business owner called us," TPD Chief Jane Castor said this afternoon.
"Finding those items for us was not a surprise," she added. "We are just pleased to see the communications process worked the way it did."

Don’t put ir on a painted surface (for long, anyway).. it will scratch the paint, especially if there is any dust :p

I also have magnetic signs on the front doors.
Never had a problem. Just remove all dirt, dust, and grime first.
The OWS pukes coming into our state to cause harm to anyone will suddenly become aware of our CCW laws in a close up and personal way.

In a related note, there is a real and serious threat of a hurricane hitting Florida DURING THE CONVENTION.
This storm is favored to strengthen, likely to hurricane strength and currently looks to hit Florida. I really hope this will not harm the convention’s success.
Hopefully all will go ok and it will be just some wind and rain. Like someone else said, it might put a damper on the OWS rioters plans.
