Did anyone hear the woman who called Rush about this, though? She said something like, “We are sick to death of the Party determining who will represent us. We like Akin, and we’ll vote for him. If the Party in DC steps in and ‘gives’ us a new candidate, we will not vote for him” — (my words...). I haven’t followed this closely, but I resonated with her statement.

What Akin refuses to realize is that low information voters (a.k.a. moderates)will only hear about his stupid comment through the MSM. By staying in the race the dems will talk about nothing else but his rape comment.
