You know, you could very well frame this as a failure of the Republican leadership, ESPECIALLY Mitt Romney.
They simply HAD TO show Sarah Palin who was boss in Missouri, instead of backing their most successful Republican field general's call.

A close Akin confidante tells CBS News that he will consider his standing over the coming weeks in advance of the Sept. 25 deadline.So this guy is considering it but he is determined to make it as difficult as possible to replace him instead of announcing today. IDIOT!!!

Can someone still be added to the ballot as an independent? That way it wouldn’t matter if the state replaces Akin’s name on the ballot or not.
