Absurdity. Whatever you have to tell yourself to keep yourself sane, just keep doing it. I don’t want to upset that bubble, but you are full of it.
It’s not what I tell myself. It’s what has happened historically under similar situations I look at. History is on my side.
That being said, the man has a right to stay in. His state has a right to keep him in. But winning the US Senate is not a right.
Somebody has to make a choice for the good of the party.
