using the term legitimate rape can mean whatever supporters or detractors like
to me it's means convicted felonious rape...usually by a stranger and involving aggravated violence and surprise and trauma unlike say statutory which is simply something so grave as a 19 year old boy and a 16 year old girl having consensual sex in the back seat...for the record again...I loved back seat sex way back in the last century

you can consider me on record that I do not ...I repeat...do not equate statutory rape as I described and traumatic rape by violent force by usually a stranger with either actual or implied threat to life being central in addition to violent penetration

meanwhile...I kinda like watching Akin stand up to Romney..Romney is a jerk...comes across as one to me. I don't have any problem with what he said, but I think I could have said it better or just declared no rape exclusion...I mean if rape is not a capital offense for the rapist then why do so many here wish it to be so for the baby?

I was not attempting to dodge anything. Akin comes from across the state from me and other than Claire's ads about him being a radical right winger I knew little about him. Yes, I knew his 'voting' record, but as a US House Representative and the man able to dethrone Claire just was not there for me. That pretty much sums up what attention I have paid up to date to this man.
My objective since the day Claire won back in 06 was to have her replaced. Guess that would be called an emotional reaction instead of an objective reaction.
Obviously I have NOT plugged into the language of those chosen to implement the 'pro-life' agenda, because the first time I ever heard the phrase 'legitimate rape' was out of Akin's mouth. I am doing my own poll to find one female I personally know that finds that phrase acceptable.
I can only imagine the male reaction had Akin said America we do not have an abortion problem, we have an illegitimate 'sex' problem and tooo many conceptions are taking place.
IF my only option is to vote 'for' him come November to send Claire packing, I will vote for him.
