If McCaskill believes that Akin is the weakest candidate because he the most conservative, then let’s have that race and give voters the clearest choice. I just don’t buy the crap that the Dems somehow mobililzed its voters to go to the polls for Akin. The Dems had their own primaries, some of them very competitive including the Carnahan-Clay race.

Clay won by 30+ points. Issue was never in doubt. White boys don't do well in StL.

There was more of a "hint" or "suggestion" rather than mobilization for Democrats to vote for Akin. Draw a Republican ballot in areas where Dems won't win anyway. Ma spent $2 million approx. on ads.

Not sure at this point what, if anything can be done. Akin says he's staying in. Less than 3 hours to go, so unless an 11th hour decision is made, I'll be voting for Akin come Nov. I just hope all other Republicans in Missouri do likewise...
