Thank you, Paul. I found these items by pro-life organizations referenced on World Magazine's website some time after posting my note, and I'm glad to see that this isn't just Akin acting on his own.

If the Christian conservative movement gets behind Akin, he may be able to win. If he does, he will win without the help of mainstream Republicans and will be able to do whatever he wants in the Senate.

Long-term that may end up being a good thing — but only if he wins.

I have major concerns.
