No kidding, where are the calls for him to step down?
At least Mayor Bing in Detroit isn’t running around telling people what to eat and drink while writing tickets for smoking. In fact, he’s been far less friendly to Obama than Bloomy has been.
I’m no fan of any cities. As far as I’m concerned, nearly all are no different than Detroit. However Detroit gets a far worse rap than it deserves. Sure they have debt and serious problems but they aren’t continuing to write checks at the rate many cities are. Cut off the gravy train to a place like Chicago and they’ll be smelling the smoke from Chicago all the way to Detroit inside of a month.

I'd rather spend a week with Detroit resident, 78 year old Willie White who demonstrates how he dealt with a young punk breaking into his house in the middle of the night.
Bloomberg would rather have me call police and hope they don't need to draw a chalk outline around my body.

Aside from the complete abject stupidity of Bloomberg’s statement, the logistics of keeping illegals sequestered to a particular city would require high security like fences, guard towers, and check points. In effect, Bloomberg is proposing that we turn a burned out husk of a city into a really big concentration camp.

I hear ya. I'm not harder on Detroit than I am on California, and I live in California. It's a damned shame too, because this place has so much potential.
We used to pull together as a nation, and have let Obama and the Democrat party wedge us apart. We need to stop that, and fight for every square inch of the nation we love.
Thanks for the donations. Lets finish this off. If you haven't already, please click and pencil yourself in.

Immigrants alien to our culture and more expensive to assimilate, from southern parts of the world, can stay in New Yuk. After the remainder of the default/correction process, New Yuk will be worse than Detroit. A country cannot continue with leadership in business, politics and academia by politically favored, anti-American, sociopath-administered NGOs.

Does this guy ever have a thought that isn’t totalitarian?

Does not sound like Michael Bloomberg.
Is this one of those semi-unserious, semi-unfunny "satirical" pieces?

I know, I know. And Mel Brooks didn’t direct. But wouldn’t Escape From Detroit be a great idea for an Escape movie? Better than that stupid new sci fi, “Escape”. Besides who doesn’t love Kurt Russell in an eyepatch?

This reminds me of something our wonderful government is doing for refugees (African muslims). They are sending them to Boise, ID because “there aren’t enough slums” here. GAH!!!
