No Red Tees.
I took lessons from a PGA certified pro for several years, a guy who played on the PGA tour until his knees blew out. He told me that the Blue, White, Red and Gold tees should have nothing to do with gender or age but with ability and handicap.
He put this into practice during a playing lesson when he told two of the guys in our foursome, including my husband that they needed to play from the Red tees and moved me to the White tees.
One of the guys (not my husband) protested saying it was insulting to make him hit from the Ladies tees and let me hit from the Mens and that I didnt hit my drives long enough to hit from the White (and IIRC, it wasnt that long of a course and in a lot of cases the Red and White tees were not all that far apart, 20-30 yards).
The golf pro told him, Yea she doesnt hit her drives quite as long as you do but unlike you, shes mostly in the fairway or light rough were as you are lucky if you are not in the next fairway or in the trees. But if you want to hit from the White tees
then he took the guys driver and 2-iron from his bag and said you can have these back when you learn to hit them. True story. :),
