I read where one SEAL team shot more ammo than the entire U.S. Marine Corps, still, I am partial to my Force Recon(now MARSOC) Marines. :P

The reason the SEALs switched to Sig Sauers was they wore out their Beretta M9 pistols in about three to four years. The Beretta was never designed to fire 8,000 rounds per year, every year, that SEAL operators do. The Beretta's aluminum frames could not take the pounding of the hot 9mm loads the SEALs use.

Also, SEALs can use the H&K USP in .45 ACP. This pistol is called the Mk 23 Mod 0 and comes with a quick attach-detach suppressor. It is, however, larger and heavier than the Sigs.
