There is research out there in a peer reviewed journal, cited by the CDC, that the conception rate is about 5%, and that an estimated 32,000 pregnancies annually result from rape.

Further, there is plenty of evidence from war zones, where incontestably forcible rapes result in pregnancy. For the Rwandan ethnic cleansing, the estimate was 2000 to 5000 children born of rape.

Did this study distinguish between legitimate rapes and reported rapes that were really consensual sex???

What part of “less likely” don't you understand. Of course it happens. A woman biting and kicking and attempting to end an encounter is bound to get pregnant much less often than one have a loving consensual encounter. It is a stupid argument no doubt and one case is tragic for both the victims of the crime. If there are 1.6 million abortions yearly and all 32000 rape pregnancies are aborted then the rate is about 1.5% of abortions are rape related. Leaving out statutory rape and false claims though unknown would reduce this.
