Pride is irrelevant. A man stands for something or nothing. I choose to stand for everything that made America what it was.

I stand by conservative values and refuse to run in fear when the going gets uncomfortable. I don’t consider that prideful or courageous. I consider that something we all once stood for.

Sorry your fear clouds your judgement. But it does. I hope to live through the Romney presidency (because even I admit he will win) just to see all the excuses the ABOs come up with for his liberal edicts and the gutless congress who ‘hold his feet’ ...to the soft, comfy pillow.

As they always do.

You say that pride is irrelevant, and then you make judgments about me and others as if you can foretell the future. Wow.

George Washington understood what to attack and when. When he engaged in strategic retreats, it was not waving a white flag. He chose what battles to fight and when. He lived to fight another day and our nation was born because of his wisdom. Do you understand that?

Now, apply that knowledge to today’s political puzzle.

I’m glad you cite conservative values. But you abandon patriotism. Our country needs good people like you, but you have to think and plan ahead for the next battle! We now have an active TEA Party that can (and will) be an influential force in politics. This is NOT a loss!

I choose to retreat on the GOPPick, not give up. And I will never succumb to the cowardice that you charging. You’re mad, I understand it. But if you cleared your head of your hatred of Romney and all your crystal ball projections, your arguments would be more sensible.
