Dude. So are you saying that those who think that Romney is the best chance we have to promote Christian values in this country in this election is damned?

Are you telling me that I have to vote for a Christian in an election where there ARE no Christians, or else I’m damned?

I’ve learned from my eight years training for the ministry that telling people that they’d better believe the exact same as you or else they’re damned is NOT the way to bring people around. If anything, it’s going to make them reject the Gospel because it’s being delivered with such overwhelming pride.

Are you really trying to be a witness to the Gospel here, or are you just strutting around proclaiming your moral superiority? Because if you’re trying to be a Christian, you’re doing the exact wrong thing.

When I was a kid a bunch of snake handles moved into the neighborhood. Their kids went to my school. They told us "If'n ye' donna' tek op ye serpants, ye're gonna' go to Hell".

I tried to stay away from them. Folks who stray far from Christian orthodoxy are kinda' in that same class.

Because if you’re trying to be a Christian,

I am not trying - I AM! And the fact that you NEEDED to ask all your 'damned' questions - shows it's you who is 'trying'.

I'm not trying to bring anyone around - I post THE TRUTH OF the WORD and the Holy Spirit does the rest. NOT surprising at all, you didn't know this.

But The WORD is the same for everyone. There is ONLY ONE WAY, ONE TRUTH, and ONE LIFE.

If anyone feels damned or not - that's, personal, about them and not for you to decide. After all, it is designed to have an effect as The WORD of God is ALIVE and ACTIVE.

"For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

If anything, it’s going to make them reject the Gospel because it’s being delivered with such overwhelming pride.

That's YOU interpreting the delivery for yourself and your agenda. And I might add that's pride. It's ALL about Jesus - so get over yourself!
