An opportunity to re-post my Romney endorsement. I did send Newt another check with a note and checks to Romney and the RNC with notes.

A bumper sticker that read “VOTE for the RINO, IT’S IMPORTANT” would be in order but may dampen enthusiasm for those that have it.
There, that does it Romney now has my official endorsement, my promise to vote for the Republican nominee will be honored, I’m also going to send a small check to the NRC, probably with a note attached, and a small check to the Romney campaign, with a small check attached, and a check to Newt to help pay off his obligations and a note attached thanking him for what he has done for Conservatives, Republicans and the Nation and for stepping forward again in these troubled times and pointing us to the right path even though we chose to turn left. “
Jim, I applaud the courage to adjust. I think your amended position is much more logical and easier to defend. Its a rotten choice we’ve got, but we’ve got to make the best of it. And I think there is reason for hope. Paul Ryan is one reason. The news coming out that Jay Sekeulow (sp?) of the ACLJ is possibly aiding Romney with court picks is another. Again, doesn’t erase Romney’s record....but does give some indication that some changes may be genuine.
Even 2016 realizes that Obama's biggest contribution to destroying America and Israel is THE UNITED STATES OF ISLAM. He has helped Libya, Egypt, and later Syria and Iraq be part of surrounding Israel with radical governments.
Every Muslim wants to destroy Israel and the US. Americans, the biggest fools in history, still don't get it.

Time to crank it up ‘several notches’ and wipe that smug, arrogant, ugly Baracky face off of our tv screens, out of the White House and out of our lives...once and for all.

I respect your decision to vote for Romney, though it comes as something of a shock. It's your hard-fought right to vote for whomever you please. I respect that, and I don't envy you the sleepless nights, or the tough call it must have been to change your mind about this.
I won't be following suit, though.
I live in a state which will go whole-hog for Obama even if there were a thousand of me voting for someone else. That gives me the luxury of voting for whom I please, because casting my vote for Romney is a total waste -- it will not matter one whit against the horrendous Democrat bulk of New York City.
I will cast my vote for the person I believe could do the best job as President among those in the political top tier.Jim, if I could, I would write in Sarah Palin's name another time, for your sake. :)I will write in Sarah Palin.
My vote is not a "wasted" vote -- it expresses my true beliefs about who could run America the best.
My vote is not a "protest" vote -- I'm not protesting AGAINST anything, I'm voting FOR the best person out there.
And my vote sure as hell is not an "Obama vote", as so many FReepers seem to think.
I pray that Obama loses through the efforts of others whose votes will matter. Meanwhile I will put my efforts towards telling the Establishment, both Left and Right, that I think they suck and I will not support them. I will vote for someone I believe will represent my beliefs and priorities, and can lead a return of America to greatness.
Frankly, I think a surprising number of folks will do the same.
BTW, Jim, I'm just curious, not at all sarcastic: I thought CA was a given for Obama. Do you really suppose that California is that close, that your vote for Romney will put him over Obama there? Or do you think that by publicly taking heat for switching yourself, you will inspire enough other Conservatives to vote for Romney and put him over the top?
Anyway, Godspeed and all that, carry on the fight for doing the Right Thing. There will be no shortage of opportunities to wage that battle if Romney wins in November -- that liberal SOB is no less dangerous today than he was two days ago.
