It’s too late. Akin has years of solid conservative representation of Missourians. He will make a fine Senator. The Democrats cannot win on the issues and they’ve learned Obama’s lesson well. Either get your opponent disqualified or get the opponents voters fighting each other that you can coast to a win.

While feel free to offer your opinion, don’t take it badly if we ignore you if you are not a Missourian or have recently signed up to FreeRepublic.

These are just one man’s (Akin’s) opinion on one subject and it is being blown way out of proportion to the rest of his actions in his life and his voting record.

Here we are ready to throw one man under the bus for a few words and give a man (Obama) control of the the senate who has been intent on destroying the last beacon of freedom in the world. You must choose.

If you want the Republicans to take the Senate, Akin must go. He's already damages the party brand; having him stick around will throw away a pickup opportunity and give the Dems a golden opportunity to tie other Pubs to him association.

This could be another game-change fiasco like Mark Foley six years ago.
