I just called the Missouri GOP Headquarters again. I could tell that the lady I spoke with was in agreement with me that Akin needs to go but she could not say that. She said they DO have Party Statutes that handle how to replace a candidate should they withdraw from a race but the candidate has to make that decision; the State Party cannot remove him. Now, I'm calling Akin's campaign and tell them the buffoon needs to go for the good of the country.
