Join you in what? throwing away my vote and assuring that obama gets another 4 years. No thank you! I’m not gung ho on Romney by any means, but, I do think he will be an improvement over the usurper now in the WH. Good golly - Mickey Mouse would be an improvement.
Grown a spine? You know nothing about me. Why don’t you grow a spine and vote for one of the major candidates instead of wasting your vote - which will assure a victory for obama.
Your reasoning is flawed.

Right, and with Romney in, Obamacare will stay, and gay marriage will be on the agenda too.
Just like he did when he was in MA.

If Obama is re-elected, no conservative will have any place at the table. Ever.
Conservatives never had a place at Obama's table. Not even as the court jester. This is nothing new. But in the last years, we learned how to cripple Obama. Brewer just flipped him the political bird with regard to amnesty. The freshmen senators held the line and didn't ratify the Sea Treaty. Obama didn't show up in my state, Wisconsin, to even attempt help unseat Walker in the recall. Yes, we've learned how to cripple the liberal advances made by team Obama. Changing the leadership while maintaining the advances breaks our line. Instead of opposing Obama, our team will get their "asses in line" for sake of party unity and decimate conservatism further under Romney. Electing Romney does nothing more than introduce an opponent into the center of our circle, so the circular firing squad can ensue. When you vote for a liberal, you advance liberalism, every time. People are ready to help me save my house when Obama tries to light it up. When Romney's holding the match, a fair number of those same people will turn their backs because "he's our rascal". Principle is worth standing for, but this goes beyond pragmatism to survival. Romney brings conservatism once step closer to its death bed, and I won't help him do it. I'd prefer to keep fighting Obama's socialism than succumb to Romney's just for the sake of the "R" behind his name.

Obama won't see four more years. Plan B, impeachment, is already in the works. The GOP was willing in 1992 with Clinton, and they have much more material to work with when 2014 rolls around with another batch of Senators worried about their jobs. Obama will be neutered at worst, and at best we'll have Biden in charge, bumbling and gridlocked, for the last two years before we can try again at a genuine conservative candidate in 2016. I'll take do-over in four years rather than wait for twelve years as Romney has his run and then hands the office back to another Obama-like democrat. Twelve years is too long to wait.

Look, I’m not a big fan of Mitt Romney. However, he can evolve - just as our “dear leader” did. I don’t pretend to know his innermost feelings or beliefs on certain subjects - other than what he did as governor of MA. Ronald Reagan was once liberal on issues as well, and he had a change.
I think there is hope that Romney can change - heck we know he can, but, its totally hopeless that obama will ever swing to the middle of the road or right on issues. It just isn’t going to happen.
There is much more at stake in this election than gay rights or marriage. Its very difficult to just pinpoint one thing and make an informed decision based on that.
The Mormons were the largest group to defeat gay marriage when it wss on the ballot in CA. They took a lot of heat from that. If Mitt is a devout Mormon, as he claims, then I would suspect that his beliefs are more in tune with the church as a whole. However, I have no evidence of that either. Just pure speculation on my part.
Our country is in a mess and spiraling downward at an alarming rate economically and our freedoms are being eroded every day of the week by this regime. Our national security is in jeopardy, there is corruption in every department of the government, and we need a change. I would have preferred a different candidate, but, this is who we are stuck with, and I will not give my vote to someone who hates this country and is destroying our religious freedoms.
I’ll let God deal with Mitt on his stance (if there is one) regarding gays. God loves the gay people, but, hates the sin. In the NT, the sin of homosexuality is lumped with adultery and fornication, and many of the members of the Corinthian church were former homosexuals. Paul addressed them as such. So, I believe there is hope for Mitt, but, zero with obama.
I also believe, other than whatever views Mitt holds about homosexuals, that he has deep moral convictions within him. I can’t say the same about obama.

I prefer to fight Romney. We know how to cripple Obama? Preposterous. He has PDDs, executive orders, and can order agencies to do anything he wants. He fights the Chicago way and believes he has the right to destroy this nation that has plundered the world. He loathes the Constitution and this nation. We have all seen what he is capable of doing.
If Romney does something I don’t like, I will be out in the street with other FReepers. If Obama does something I don’t like, he has the power to keep me out of the street. And he will. There is virtually nothing Obama will not do to advance his agenda. We have never seen anything like this in the history of the presidency.
I would rather fight Romney in power than Obama in power. No one from Obama’s party will fight him as he consolidates more and more power. Tea party pols and other good conservatives will fight Romney over those many issues with which we disagree.

When the next generations asks "Why did you vote for a pro-abortion, pro-guncontrol, pro-gay-marriage, pro-gay-adoption, pro-stimulus, pro-bailout, pro-healthcare-rationing, pro-amnesty, pro-spending-mandate candidate?", will your best answer be "Because I didn't want the other pro-abortion, pro-guncontrol, pro-gay-marriage, pro-gay-adoption, pro-stimulus, pro-bailout, pro-healthcare-rationing, pro-amnesty candidate, pro-spending-mandate to win"?
My answer will be "I didn't."

That is the plan? Impeach Obama? Convict him with a 2/3 vote in the Senate? Unbelievable. Bill Clinton forever set the bar as low as it would go. No Democrat president will ever be impeached and convicted or forced to step down. Anyone making that move will be personally destroyed by Obama and his gang of thugs. That is what they do. They will encourage rioting in the streets. This man is like nothing this nation has ever before encountered. We have never had a a president influenced by the likes of Davis, Alinsky, his father, Wright, and Ayers.
The president elected in 2012 may be facing Iran that is dangerously close to nukes. I do not want that to be Obama, who has no problem with a nuclear Iran.

Republicans fighting Obama :
Amnesty: Jan Brewer Nullifies Obama's Executive Order With Executive Order
Republicans fighting republicans :
Boehner to GOP members: 'Get your ass in line'
I disagree with you 100%. We are far more successful fighting an opponent on a groomed battlefield before us than we are fighting an opponent working from the shadows within our own camp. That is pretty basic strategy. I guess, after seeing what a paper tiger Obama is here in Wisconsin during the recall, I'm not as afraid of him as you are. The folks in Arizona are learning that same lesson. I know we'll make more ground working against a common adversary we have already unified against than we would working against an adversary that pretends to be one of our own.

Romney, the jackass, could easily state it’s the Boy Scouts’ decision. But being the jackass he is, Romney coopts the homosexual agenda.
It’s a private organization, you liberal, statist jackwagon!

Andrea Saul needs to be fired. Shes the one who came up with that lame explanation of the Romney killed a guys wife. She works for him, it's up to him whether he keeps her. She said Romney's position remains the same, he's pro homo scouts and scout leaders. He hasn't denied what his spokes person said.
I heard the words from his mealy mouth when he said he was ok with homo adoptions, not that long ago either. Maybe he's changed that position too by now, hard to keep up with Romney's changing positions. And we called Kerry a flip flopper. Romney's got Kerry beat all to pieces in that department.
We are losing our country to godless socialism and what does the GOP do? Run an abortionist/homosexualist statist whose socialist RomneyCare program was the blueprint and impetus for ObamaCare! Screw that!! Ill vote for the GOPs candidate for the presidency when they run a CONSERVATIVE!! Otherwise, to hell with them!! The GOP is fast cementing their place as part of the problem! Wake up America!!
No I will not vote for an abortionist for president. Period. Its no secret. Ive been posting that I will not vote for Rudy/Romney abortionist for many years.
Welcome to Free Republic, Americas exclusive site for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty conservatives!
Romney does not qualify on any count!

A delusional plan.
I’m voting for 3 Republican Houses. Romney will unfortunately benefit from that.

You didn't know that? Yes, that is the plan. The bill is before Congress (
H.CON.RES.107) and is "
gaining steam" Perhaps you haven't heard about it due to the
media avoiding it. But yes, I do entirely believe it is the GOP's plan B. And, it is one I can support without reservation -- unlike the call to support Romney.

Naive beyond belief.
Who? Brewer for thinking she can fight Obama? The Tea Party congress members for thinking they can fight Boehner? Or me, for observing them both and drawing my own conclusions based upon reality?
