We are not looking for "purity". We are looking for just a base degree of conservatism in a candidate. It is not too much to ask for. The further left the Dems move, the Repub leadership, their strategists, consultants e.t.c. follow along closely behind. This time they moved right off the plantation. I guess they wanted to keep up with their current opponent in liberalism.

This throwing around of the "purity" label just takes away whatever credibility you have. The Mitt campaign among conservatives has been reduced to hyperbole.

Doesn't choosing Ryan mean he can take conservative actions on occasion? Woudl Obama have chosen Ryan as a running mate? Romney is NOT the same as Obama.
