I am posting these statements in response to the Obama campaign politicizing America's Special Operation Forces who were responsible for killing Osama bin Laden. It is so wrong that it must be denounced in the strongest possible terms.

"It is beneath the Presidency for Mr. Obama to allow his political operatives to campaign on this rhetoric. For him to allow this demeans the office, demeans the man, and it demeans the integrity of the nation. This type of campaign rhetoric puts all of our military at greater risk for a cheap political point. Mr. Obama may believe that his reelection is of vital national interest, but try to explain that to the families of those 858 service members who have died in Afghanistan since January 20th of 2009. The raid to kill Osama bin Laden was fortunate enough to not have suffered any friendly casualties, but if he is willing to take individual personal credit for this action is he willing to take the personal blame for the deaths of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who died faithfully executing his orders in Afghanistan?"
