That article just claimed that Holmes had a Colorado CCW. I have seen this nowhere else in the media, and am reasonably sure had it been the case every anti-gun politico and pundit would have been screaming it from the rooftops.

A google search turns up no confirmation of this claim.

I'm not sure I dislike this idea. Give students a choice whether they want to live free, or gun free. I know which dorm I’da been hanging around waaay back in my college days. Give me a dorm full of gun totin’ ladies to cozy up to vs. a dorm full of flea-bag hippie girls ANY day.

Most of the guys I knew who lived in college dorms in the 1950s & early 60s kept their hunting rifles in their dorm rooms. Anybody know when this prohibition began?

 My first thought as well. I think this is just another slander against CCW holders. Looking to see if anyone else has confirmation.

I think it is a violation of privacy of the CCW holders. The professors can look up which dowm you live at, and know you are one of those “right wing gun nuts”.
