Evidently, Romney did pull over and hose off the dog, and cage, and car, but then put Seamus right back into the cage. If anything it shows Romney's disconnect to discomfort. Mitt's allowance of $50 abortions through Romneycare bothers me a whole lot more, but being a dog lover, I really like this guy's site. Dogs Against Romney I find it very disturbing that you keep pimping that site, which has as its goal the re-election of Barack Obama.

Who funds them? And where does it state they are working for the re-election of Barack Obama? (I hadn’t seen that previously.) And I’m not a troll. It would have been nice if you did some research on my posting history before you started throwing out insults. This is one of the reasons why people leave Free Republic.

Their hit song "
Whip It," was popular in 1980. I didn't realize they were still around.

Well if the biggest thing the Democrats have on Romney is him strapping a dog to the top of a car in a crate some 30 years ago, then they are about out of bullets.
As a dog-owner, I wouldn't do that with my dog but I wouldn't consider it cruel unless it was in the winter time or in inclement weather. Romney's excuse is that the dog had diarrhea but I think the dog would have been better off in a kennel while they were taking their trip.
For some reason, the movie "Vacation" comes to mind as a younger Mitt and Ann Romney would probably resemble Clark and Ellen Griswold!

I would say it is more dangerous for a dog to ride loose in the open bed of a pickup, only because it might jump out of the truck and into traffic (if my dog saw a rabbit or deer on the side of the road, she would be gone in a heartbeat). So in that situation probably safer on the roof rack in a cage.
As for hanging their heads out car windows, I let my dog do that all the time but worry that something might get into her eye.

... well, they did claim to believe that we'd stopped developing and were de-evolving into something worse ...
Is further proof necessary?

DEVO, the same band that once recorded a song using a poem by Ronald Reagan's would-be assassin, John Hinckley. Ever classy...

Lyndon Baines Johnson picked up beagles by their ears to make them yelp.
Barry Obama ate dogs.
Mitt Romney provide a safe, airconditioned, balcony seat view of their road trip for his dog and he's the bad one?

Here’s what I’ll be singing.
Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Good.
Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Good.
That’s what Barack thinks dogs are.
Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Good.

Who funds them? And where does it state they are working for the re-election of Barack Obama? In 2008, Devo were among the acts performing free concerts to generate crowds for Obama campaign appearances. Gerry Casale is the one behind this song (he sings it and gave his name to the site):

Play dumb if you want about their motives. The excuse is that Barack was a child living in a foreign country and had "no choice" when his stepfather fed him dog meat.
You sound like Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Wasserman Schultz: 'No idea' about political affiliation of Priorities USA
Democratic Party Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said Sunday she has no idea about the political affiliation of Priorities USA, the Super PAC behind a recent ad suggesting Mitt Romney is responsible for a womans death -- though the group was co-founded by two former Obama staffers.

One never knows what to make of these things.
The Conservative Punk group Ramones wrote Bonzo Goes To Bitburg When Reagan went to Bitburg cemetery in early 1985.
Joeys head was spinning upside down.
Joey had no clue that 2 years later, Reagan would stand in front of the Brandenburg Gate and declare, "Mr Gorbachev...Tear down this wall!"
