Devo to unleash song about Mitt Romney's dog
Don't Roof Rack Me, Bro! mocks the Republican presidential candidate by documenting the time he strapped the family dog to his car roof during a 12-hour road trip in the 80s.
Devo's next song is about Mitt Romney's dog. The American new wave band are putting an Irish setter front and centre on Don't Roof Rack Me, Bro! (Remember Seamus), which takes fire at the Republican presidential candidate.
Twenty-nine years ago Romney took his family on a 12-hour road trip from Boston to Ontario, strapping the family dog to a kennel on their car roof. As the Chevrolet station wagon barrelled down the highway, Seamus clung on for dear life; even after the dog suffered a diarrhoea attack, Romney just sprayed everything down and continued with the journey.

LOL!
“We are DEVO. D-U-M.B.”
This photo is so disturbing in many ways, touché!
Funny I was just writing a song about Obamsa’s son called “Don’t Hood Rat Me”
I will never get this faux controversy. My neighbor had a similar roof cage, and when they went on a trip the dog would climb onto the roof of their car, and whimper until they let him in. He LOVED that thing.Seamus, however, did not enjoy this particular ride.
The incident: dog excrement found on the roof and windows of the Romney station wagon. How it got there: Romney strapped a dog carrier with the family dog Seamus, an Irish Setter, in it to the roof of the family station wagon for a twelve hour drive from Boston to Ontario, which the family apparently completed, despite Seamus's rather visceral protest. LinkEvidently, Romney did pull over and hose off the dog, and cage, and car, but then put Seamus right back into the cage. If anything it shows Romney's disconnect to discomfort. Mitt's allowance of $50 abortions through Romneycare bothers me a whole lot more, but being a dog lover, I really like this guy's site.
One One Hit Wonder shilling for another I guess...
Next time Mitt campaigns in front of coal miners he should tweek the Spud Boys by playing their version of “Working in a Coal Mine.”
Is it going to be followed by a song about how they treat their horse better than people?
These libs are confusing me, I can’t figure out if the Romneys hate animals or love them more than people..
I went rabbit hunting with family friends, who took their dogs to scare up the rabbits. These dogs could not have been more excited when called to leave, as they jumped into the trunk of the old chevy impala and down went the lid, they were quiet on the ride and found us at least 12 rabbits. Just to illustrate the danger of such a job, the oldest dog got shot jumping a log and the owner put him down on the spot.
Devo is still around? I haven’t seen them since 1981!
President Obama is the ONLY United States President that had eaten dog meat. In the future...
“Dogs’ for $800...
These dogs dont know whats best for them. They are being agitated by professional canine organizers.Ruh roh!
Apparently, they've turned blue with age ...
They had to wear blue hats. Red hats are for (R)s.
This is fairly pathetic.
Oh, I bet you it sucks more than 0’s reelection campaign.
Is he/they someone I should have heard of?
That is so gross, but like I said, has anyone seen “Bo” lately? I wish someone talented/creative would come out with a song against Obama and all the children that have died on his watch. And include the pained post-abortive mothers who were left in the trenches wounded and now silenced or embittered. I hope the DogsAgainstRomney guy is not a Democrat. I did not get that feeling originally during the primaries, but maybe he is, in which case he would be a hypo”crate.”
Dog already had intestinal problems—that is why he got put up on the roof.
