Do you think he knew something was going to happen? /s
A morality lesson for active or passive supporters of the minuscule pervert culture. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.
Deviancy and abnormals have always been with us. Who would have thought that allowing them out of the closet would start a war for words like "normal" and "marriage?"
You are destined to lose, (militant) perverts.
Get used to it.
“Real victim?!? Youve got to be effing joking!”
You missed his /sarcasm tag. He just forgot the forward slash. :-)
PA Ping!
If you want on/off the PA Ping List, please freepmail me. Thanks!
I am guessing that the point at which Paterno is “devastated” doesn't come until the end when the truth about Sandusky’s serial raping of little boys is out in the open. Until then, Paterno sleeps quite well at night and deposits his big buck checks every payday.
Can you tell us the names of these people??? And when and where this was???
All we heard about is McQueary's report to Paterno in 2001, but the charge for what he saw was dismissed by the jury at trial as being a mere grooming incident. The child never came forward and the jury decided that it was not a criminal act of molestation that McQueary witnessed.
After the McQueary incident Sandusky's charity was notified, he was not permitted use of the showers anymore, and campus privileges were limited. There were no more incidents on campus -- atleast none reported to this day by the 6 million dollar Freeh Report or anyone else.
But since you know more -- please tell us about these other people.
Let me guess -- you haven't read the Freeh Report. You have just heard about it from the media.
Sandusky was not working for him at the time of the McQueary Report. He was retired and working for his charity run by Dr.Raykovitz, a child psychologist -- who was notified of the shower incident.
Still waiting for Spanier to do the perl walk.
"by all accounts". Try reading the Freeh Report and you might find out that you are wrong.
After meeting with McQueary, Paterno met with Curry -- at that point his duty was done.
But he went beyond that, per the Freeh Report, and set up a meeting with McQueary, Curry [the AD], and Schultz [the VP and head of the campus police].
He didn't have to do that according to university procedures and state law, but he did.
Afterward Sandusky was not allowed to bring kids to the facilities anymore and the CEO of his charity who was a child psychologist was notified.
How do you know he didnt?
...gee, don’t you think that might have come up in his grand jury testimony if he had...
1) Use every bit of moral and legal authority to fire Sandusky
...technically, because Jerry wasn’t an employee at the time but an emiritus professor, fired probably isn’t the right word to use...don’t know what methods to use to gwt rid of an emeritus...
After meeting with McQueary, Paterno met with Curry — at that point his duty was done.
...as I’m sure you’re aware, the name is Curley, not Curry...goes to your credibility, Uncle...and while we’re at it, why do you state that his duty was done? Wasn’t he responsible for Jerry being at PSU in the first place? And as far as Jerry not beinging kids on campus, what about the phone call to the McQueary shower kid (if I’m not mistaken) asking him to come the a football game?
...of course, it’s one thing to prohibit Jerry from bringing kids, and quite another to actually enforce it...which would appear that they barely even attempted to do so...
...you appear to be lauding Joe for doing the absolute minimum he could do to rein in the proclivities of a man whose presence on campus he himself was responsible for...strange...
I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1982. I've seen hero worship up close. It's a strange thing.
technically, because Jerry wasnt an employee at the time but an emiritus professor, fired probably isnt the right word to use...dont know what methods to use to gwt rid of an emeritus...
Do you even bother to read your own posts??? They just might answer your rhetorical questions.
Got a page reference?
I don’t feel like poring over 250 pages of tales of perverts trying to find whatever you’re referring to.
"...Curley agreed that there was no 'practical way to enforce [Sandusky] not bringing children onto the campus after he was warned not to do so. There is no indication that Spanier, Schultz, Paterno, or Curley had discussions about any other enforceable actions that could have been taken to safeguard children. Spanier told the Special Investigative Counsel that he did not do anything to prohibit Sandusky from using Penn State facilities, nor did he instruct anyone else to do so".Basically, the whole crew said "Naughty, naughty, Jerry. Mustn't do that again", but did nothing to enforce it.
After the 2001 incident, there was no more showering there with his 2nd mile kids -- atleast that the prosecution have been made aware of. One way or the other Sandusky got that message loud and clear and must have abided by it.
The real question is why they didn't follow through with their agreed upon plan and notify the DPW. They did notify his charity TSM. Incidentally, according to PA law, once TSM was notified of the shower incident, the child psychologist CEO Dr Jack Raykovitz was obligated to notify DPW himself but didn't. That is what is forgotten in all of this.
Paterno didn't want Sandusky bringing those kids there to the football facilities in the first place for liability reasons. But he was overruled by the administration until the 2001 incident.
