I don’t think Obama would care how much Hillary overshadows him if he tossed Biden and put her on the ticket. Obama and FLOTUS just care about another four years on Air Force One, unlimited golfing and vacations and no work to speak of.

I think you are right. Obama will do anything to stay in power.And throw anyone under the bus.

I think today is the “first offer” to Hillary. The Clintons will shake him down for anything they want and get it.
I predict two or three days days before the republican convention will be the announcement.
