To: a real Sheila
When Sarah Palin made that statement yesterday about how Obama should drop Biden for Hillary, I knew something was brewing. The only reason Palin would say something like that was the hope that maybe Obama might back away from doing it if it looked like the idea was coming from her.

If this happens, it will make it tougher for Romney/Ryan to win the women vote. On the other hand, might make it a lot easier for blue-collar males (the Reagan Democrats) to come over to our side. As well, the black voters won't be too thrilled to see Hillary on the ticket, still some bad feeling from the 2008 campaign.

I disagree, during 2008 it was the white vote she was taking from Obama. That will carry through during this campaign. It would make it much harder for Romney in Ohio and Wisconsin.

That’s probably why she did it. And McCain. And Rudy got out there to “mock” Biden.
