Stay-at-home nonvoters are more likely to support President Barack Obama than Mitt Romney, according to a new USA Today/Suffolk University poll out today.
Eighty million Americans 40 percent of the possible eligible electorate wont vote this Election Day. And 59 percent of them say theres no point, since nothing ever gets done and politicians continue to make empty promises, according to the poll.
Forty-three percent of nonvoters are Obama supporters, the survey found, while 20 percent of the nonvoters support Romney, 18 percent back a third-party candidate and 15 percent are undecided.
This poll is a good news-bad news story for Barack Obama, poll director David Paleologos said in a statement. The good news is that there is a treasure chest of voters he doesnt even have to persuade they already like him and dislike Mitt Romney. He just needs to unlock the chest and get them out to vote. The bad news is that these people wont vote because they feel beaten down by empty promises, a bad economy and the negativity of both parties. Obama has lost time and the key to open that treasure chest.

“They don’t vote because they’re lazy.”
Right, and also, if they voted it might show that they could work and they might be forced to get a job shoveling shit in a dairy barn. And they would loose their unemployment and their food stamps.
How the heck do these left-leaning pollsters know that the people they contacted and call "non-voters" are legally eligible to vote? Did they check their citizenship and local residency status?

If all hypothetically changed their mind and decided to vote, it wouldn't be as much of a benefit to the Anointed One as this writer would have you think. Just as in the voting population, many more current undecideds and third party supporters would vote for Romney than vote for Obama, as experience has shown that undecideds break in favor of the challenger over the incumbent and third party candidates lose support as the election grows closer.
Romney leads among actual voters, so this poll must be a consolation poll for Obama courtesy of the lib media.
You might as well say that Obama leads among gerbils - they will have just as much impact on the election.
Of course, all of the gerbils I ever had were smarter than to vote for the Wan.
I know what you are saying, but that sure reads wrong.... Our military vets would never be in a toilet!
What kind of a person is an “undecided non-voter”? What are they not decided about?
