I don’t think so. Most Democrats seem to begrudgingly support him this time around ... but I don’t get the feeling they’re all that enthusiastic about it.

If he loses, he won’t be nominated come 2016. If no one else, Hillary will trounce him.

Scenario #1
2012 Romney vs Obama: Our socialist wins
2016 Romney vs Their New Socialist: Either way a socialist wins.
2020 Chance for the GOP to put up a non-socialist.

Scenario #2
2012 Romney vs Obama: Their socialist wins
2016 Chance for the GOP to put up a non-socialist.
(If we aren't being prevented from voting by Obama's heavily armed National Weather Service.)
