Usually the CO’s wife is an important figure & leader in the family support network when a unit deploys overseas or a ship puts out to sea. Wondering how this is going to work when a group of wives gets together? I expect that either the CO’s ‘wife’ is going to opt out, or the entire network is going to cease functioning as intended.
