I respectfully disagree -- I think this was an older woman trying to rank over a bubbly, spectacularly successful young black woman. Moochelle was pulling rank. You're seeing envy, and the beginnings of hate there. Gabby's a princess and a paragon of hard work and goals triumphantly realized. Moochelle is a career sponger and alpha taker who had to surrender her law degree because of her low ethics. Gabby is innocence, beauty, and glory incarnate.
That's what I think you're seeing.
