CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. A suspected intruder was shot after trying to break in to a home in Christian County, Kentucky late Sunday night.
Authorities said the homeowner heard someone beating on the back door of a home on Sanderson Drive around 10:45 p.m. He looked outside, and didn't recognize the man so he went to get his gun.
The homeowner answered the door, and the man allegedly tried to force his way inside. Police said the suspect then tried to reach for the gun at the man's waist, and the homeowner opened fire, shooting the man in the right side of his face.

I realize that there is a very remote possibility that he was just a late night aluminum siding salesman and the homeowner was lying about his actions which led to the shooting.
There are a few of us redneck gun owners who sit up late at night just waiting for such opportunities to shoot people just for fun. < / sarcasm >

I knew a guy that a intruder try to break into his home. His German Shepherds answered the door to discuss if he really, really wanted to come in.
