“If the federal government decides to disarm the public, and when the increasingly-militarized rolls down your street after a not-so-subtle request that you kindly turn over your firearms and ammunition...”

It’s not necessary to be a hard case or even particularly courageous to carry out civil disobedience.

In such a case as the author suggests, millions of firearms will “go missing” to such an extent that three generations down the road they’ll STILL be digging them out of landfills, forest or desert or mountain or swampland caches, from behind walls, bricked up under patios, wrapped in oilskins and hidden in lakes or down drains or in pipes or even cesspools, up in the rafters... to effectively disarm America, the military - assuming they would even execute such an order - would have to quite literally dismantle the nation.

It ain’t gonna happen.

If the time comes to bury your guns it is already time to dig them up.
