You know Ryan is the right VP pick now. Too bad ticket isn’t upside-down.
Rather is rather dumb .
Dan Rather is still alive? Who knew?
I can breathe now. I was anxiously waiting for Dan Rather’s opinion on the republican VP pick. /s
Dan still cannot find the correct frequency......
Actually, Dan Rather is right in a way as of now.
We do need to have a candid and honest discussion re: our fiscal situation and how SS and Medicare affect that but both are popular
Poor ole Dan—trying so hard to be relevant. He must think someone cares what his opinion is......................
If he still had a vacation home in my neighborhood, I would put a Romney/Ryan sign in his front yard. We had lots of fun putting a Bush/ Cheney sign there during that election...........It stayed there until sometime after Christmas before he came here and saw it!
“CBS NEWS projects Al Gore wlil win Florida...”
Dan Rather also slyly hinted to Richard Maddow that he’s heard some troubling things about Paul Ryan from his trusty source, Lucy Ramirez. He hopes to have something in writing very soon. He will present it in his regular nightly newscast, which he does at his kitchen table in his underwear to an audience consisting of his dog, his parakeet and Teddy Ruxpin.
Rather’s on the Food Channel now, isn’t he?
Dan Rather A lying sack of crap speaking to Rachel Maddow who is so drunk on the kool-aid she thinks she is a 15 year old boy.
P.S., She looks like one too.
I don’t recall this kind of chatter about a VP pick with the exception of Cheney
Thanks Dan, you’ve put everyone at ease now. ROTFLMAO!!
I don’t recall this kind of chatter about a VP pick with the exception of Cheney
He has them scared spitless. Here’s a “Letter to the Editor” I spotted earlier:
Ryan is scariest kind of threat
Sorry, but for me Romney/Ryan conjure up haunting memories of McCain/Palin with one exception.
Sure, Mitt’s vice presidential pick goes hard right and is an everybody-for-themselves “tea party” favorite. And, yes, he’s probably not your choice if you’re unemployed, into education, female, minority, gay, sick, can’t obtain health insurance, poor or old.
The exception? Ryan’s an intelligent insider. He knows the ropes. This version of the tea party is much more scary.

The dems seem awfully concerned the pubbies made the wrong VP pick. This reassures me that Ryan’s the right pick.
Rather... Rather... it does ring a bell. What does he sell?
Rather was hoping Romney would have picked Hugo Chavez or Noam Chomsky. Karl Marx has been dead for quite a while, so he was definitely out of the question.
Well, since Dan Rather doesn’t like Paul Ryan, that makes me like him even more, LOL!
off topic—I’m laughing a bit because my dog is going crazy, pawing at the porch that is five feet above the ground—she can either smell or see, or hear, the raccoons we have around here. We’ve also had skunks.
Okay, logging off to close all the doors; screens aren’t enough (our A/C broke). My dog has had her rabies shot but with the drought we’ve had, the wild animals are going nuts.
Sorry for the O/T info. I may just have to take a trip to Freeper Island... where informative threads go to lose their way. :)
Shut up, Dan. You are totally out of touch with U.S. politics in the TEA Party era.
We can’t wait to see you crying on camera on Nov. 6.
