Yes, Professor Hansen was in every way, an outright Soviet Communist. All done under the Myles Brand administration. You know, the guy who as President of the NCAA decided that the way to deal with rampant academic and financial fraud in collegiate sports was to ban the use of Native American nicknames. See, if you’re team is called the “Wildcats” you can pay basketball players who remain eligible even thought they couldn’t spell “cat” if you spotted them the “c” and the “a.” But if you are the “Chippewas” you need to be punished.
