“Look out my front door each day and remind myself how fortunate I am to live here. The hot dry conditions are part of the signature of the state. (last year was the worst in 100 years) It has never been easy to live here, but the people are the best.”
This summer has been very odd here in Texas. We have had rain in August!!! Folks, that just never happens. Usually we get rain about September 1st, coincides with dove season. Or the occasional hurricane we pray for (Houston always needs a bath). Central Texas got over 2” on 8/8/2012, and when the temp is less than 100° its a cool front. This summer we have had mid nineties and August nights dropping below 70°.
It may be the indication of a colder than normal winter. They usually run in 30 year cycles here in TX. Now I will sound old: Back in the 1970’s, we had weather so cold that the rivers, lakes, and ponds froze over here in central TX.
It was so cold we drove our trucks on the ice!!!!!
Yep, it was cold back then, and will be cold again. Then what will the green idiots say?

Then what will the green idiots say?

Some other lie that they propose by experts as the "truth". All Lies 24/7 like the media.
