In January of 2009, Barack Obama promised Americans an "unprecedented" level of transparency . .

At the time, I predicted it would be unprecedentedly low. From the time he took the stage at the 2004 Convention, I told my wife that this one was going to be trouble.

We have made our exit plans in the event this poser gets re-elected. My native state of Texas is first followed by an extended vacation in Costa Rica.

Yes, Texas still IS Texas. I have read that we are receiving an influx of 1,500 people entering the state per day. I assume that number is the number of "legal" citizens.

Look out my front door each day and remind myself how fortunate I am to live here. The hot dry conditions are part of the signature of the state. (last year was the worst in 100 years) It has never been easy to live here, but the people are the best.
