I appreciate your comments and am sorry I was not able to reply earlier. Just a couple of points if you don’t mind:
First - When I indicated perplexity at what I considered a logical inconsistency, I did not mock Christianity nor any individual. I fully understand Mr. Robinson’s stand and, while I might disagree, I respect his right to follow and defend that path. Also, I believe through the years he has demonstrated sufficient strength of character to both handle dissent and deflect pandering. I would never attack him or anyone else on a personal basis nor would I insult him with false flattery.
Second - Especially in political discussions a wide variety of debating styles are used, including my least favorite, the Ad Hominem. I may indeed be an arrogant fool as you assert but that just addresses my character, not my contention.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clarify my position. This is going to be a long and heated campaign but that is the history of our country.
Well, it isn't a inconsistency - it is VERY MUCH CONSISTENT with Christianity!
I respect his right to follow and defend that path
But you couldn't keep yourself from trying to interfere with HIS right by YOU questioning it - to fit YOUR logic. He NOR I are NOT defending anything - it's more like explaining to the clueless.
It's not your place to examine HIS character yet you support one that is running for president of the USA who is characterless and godless. It shows alot about yours!
arrogant fool as you assert but that just addresses my character, not my contention.
I'm sure your contention wasn't to 'appear' as one but your post took care of that.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clarify my position
Don't thank me but JIM, you know the one you call of 'sufficient' strength. Let me tell you - he has over the top strength - next to those who fold like a cheap suitcase through fear.
