'Nearly thee years'. . .and
nooooo; that is not long in 'real time'; and certainly not in 'Congressional' time. Would offer too; that the smoke was still rising form Ground Zero - in a manner of speaking; as it still was, years later. That said; 'there were things flying out of the 'goody bag' for the 'patient' America; and worthy or otherwise;
self-serving or Party serving; is long beside today's political point; and as well; beside the critical point, our Country has been deliberately pushed to; since the arrival of Obama,Inc.
Not sure quite 'where' you are going with this; or why. That was then; this is NOW. Is your 2012 vote going to help Republicans - or have you not got over these 'stolen' years you speak of; and so perhaps; believe we deserve Obama? What???

Your claim that the GOP’s enactment of Medicare Part D was somehow tangentially related to the War on Terror is beneath comment. It was a purely political giveaway to the old folks. And an unconstitutional one at that. Period.
Those of us who value our liberty and tax dollars won’t forget those who violated them regardless if they have an “R” next to their name. If the GOP wants to claim the mantle of supporting small government, they should start by repealing the messes they created. That will only come about by conservatives holding their feet to the fire.
