Using Hitler in any way in this analogy is bizarre, at best.
Using your logic, my father could be considered a collaborator for not poisoning Nazis with his cooking.
You are still missing the point. It’s not about Hitler; it’s about how he thought. It’s about how these people think.
Same for Soros, it’s not about his history with the Nazis nor how much money he has. It’s about how he thinks. He is a predator. It’s about some people rich or poor up and down the social ladder how they think.
These people do not think like the majority of the rest of us.
Indeed they are. Gotta think some of them must be Freepers.
Do YOU even know the difference between SURVIVOR (which your father was) and collaborator? Your father was not responsible for the death of innocent people, Soros was. Your father was a victim and did what he could to survive God bless him. Soros was not only responsible for the deaths of jews, he relished it and said it was the most exciting time of his life. I doubt your good father would have said that.
I doubt you watched the two links I provided and you accuse me of bad logic. If you had I don’t think you would be defending Soros. One thing that disturbs me is that you put your father in the same league with Soros by defending old George. I hope you have enough respect for your father to see that he is a courageous man and leagues ABOVE Soros. There is no comparison, Soros is an evil man and continues to be so.
You asked for an answer to your question and you got your answer. Blindness is an ugly thing. It precludes people from seeing the truth of what is placed before them. The jews didn’t believe Hitler would do what he did, MILLIONS died. America thought we would never be attacked again after Pearl Harbor, 9/11/2001 happened.
God bless you, your father and your family.
Shalom
I always enjoy being insulted and then wished peace.
I seem to be one of the very few here who does understand what a collaborator, or a kapo, as one particular uninformed poster stated.
My childhood was spent growing up among quite a few holocaust survivors. Of the 10 or so left that I remain in contact with, not one views Soros as a collaborator, or even in a negative light, except for his actions after the holocaust.
They mostly hate his politics, though, but they understand that he was not a collaborator. One of them told me that people who believe that did not live through it. They sit comfortably and tell others how they should have behaved, never quite getting the fact that they just don’t get it and are incapable of getting it.
Somehow, I value their opinion on this matter more than yours.
First let me begin by saying I didn’t mean to insult you in any way. I love jewish people dearly and would never hurt and demean them. If I did I sincerely apologize to you from the bottom of my heart.
Second, maybe I should have mentioned it earlier but my Uncle Evan was murdered by the nazis when he tried to escape being put on a train going to a concentration camp in Poland. Two of my mothers cousins were murdered by nazis when they were found to be helping jews. Their names were Rosia and Kristina.
My father fought in WWII and helped liberate one of the death camps. He always said “after seeing the things I saw I will never be the same again”. Our neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Weichman had been in a camp and they had the numbers on the inside of their arms. They told us many stories of what it was like.
My grandmother came here from Poland. I am a Catholic American with relatives who died in and lived through the Holocaust.
I hope we can be friends even though we disagree.
Shalom
That is fine. It is a very touchy subject for me. I believe that calling Soros a collanorator is being done solely because of his politics. To call someone a traitor to his people or accuse him of being complicit in extermination goes light years past the truth.
I understand disagreeing with a man’s politics. I don’t understand what I consider smearing. I hate it when the left does it. I would be a hypocrite if I accepted it when the right does it.
