My personal answer: yes. But if the intent is to show love and respect for two countries important to the individual, let the kid slide. We’ve got waaay bigger fish to fry!

If you can tell me of any instance when that has ever happened (and I'll allow you to insert any European country in that Ireland slot) with any USA Olympic athlete, I'll take your bigotry test.

No, and rightfully so. There's not tens of millions of lawbreaking Irish swarming our country, depleting our resources and spitting in our collective faces.
