Excelent post AB. This morning I watched three of the DBM hosts in action. Fat Candy on cnn was so obvious she dogged all her pubbie guests by saying isn't ryan a dangerous pick for your party won't he be tough on old poe etc. etc.

DNC dave was worse letting axeldork have complete reign over the interview and trying to head off any problems he might have by asking him the tough questions that they will face so to give thme ahead start on what Rush will do tomorrow and the early part of the week.

axel actually gave a "tell" in his stpehy interview. When stephy asked two tough questions axel cut stephy off twice just to show him who was in charge.Same to dnc dave. These commie clowns know its their media.

Not specifically for the Olympics, but yes, in principle, I like women things to have some flexibility, or bounce; heft if you will. It certainly doesn’t make me sad!

“Synchronized swimming” is an “illustration of the strength of the human body”. Really! ; )

They workout 6-10 hours a day. Try doing what they do in the pool. You will soon find it's a tough sport. The only two differences between the gymnastic floor exercise and synchronized swimming event is that the swimmer, by definition, is in the water and she is holding her breath for four minutes. Think about it.

And if you missed water polo...well the sportscaster was shocked that it is as barbaric as hockey. His words, not mine! When you are a water polo player you are expected to tread water for hours (workouts not the game which is only 24 minutes-6 minutes a quarter) and tread hard enough to raise your body out of the water up to your waist while catching the ball, fighting off the other team, controlling the ball and then making a goal. All in a days work!!!

Horseback riding, cycling, etc are quite demanding. If you are saying that the sport is not an illustration of the human body because of the apparatus i.e. the horse and bike, then what about the vault, the parallel bars, the uneven bars, the rings, skis, skates, sleds, etc?

As for choosing the sport. There is a very lengthy process for a sport to become an Olympic event.

But there is relief! Tonight are the closing ceremonies and you won't have to watch the summer games for another four years!!!! : ) You lucky girl!!! : )

LOL! Every time you write Axel, I keep seeing Axel Rose.

When referring to Obama’s campaign adviser, I prefer to spell it “Ass’ol”. I think it's much more descriptive that way, no?

Keeping in mind, the back-up plan is Starve the Beast 2.0, and it’ll be like the TEA Party, no leaders, but lots of members, and tax revenues collected will no where near match the expenditures.

There’s only one other person besides Obama that is instantly the Dumbest least experienced guy in the room...no matter who they are with...and that’s Rachel Maddow.

A new Gallup/USA Today poll contains a counterintuitive finding: the age group most receptive to House Budget Chair Paul Ryan’s plan to deal with the budget - seniors.

The poll finds 48 percent of seniors (those 65 and over) support Ryan’s plan over President Obama’s plan, while 42 percent back the president.

That’s the highest total among the age groups tested - a 47 percent plurality between the ages of 50 and 64 backed Ryan, and a 45 percent plurality of those between 30-49 backed Ryan. But young voters overwhelmingly sided with Obama by a 23-point margin, 53 to 30 percent.

Overall, 44 percent back Obama’s plan, while 43 percent support Ryan.

Republicans hold a double-digit lead over Democrats in public perception of which party would do a better job dealing with the federal budget, according to the survey. 48 percent prefer Republicans, while 36 percent prefer Democrats in Congress.

The poll, conducted between April 20-23, surveyed 1,013 adults and has a four percent margin of error.

Yes, it’s funny how Dr. Vecchio actually read the bill, can explain exactly what’s in it in 7 short youtube videos, and yet the Democrats who voted for the bill claim how great it is. Next Secretary of HHS?

How much does a national debt counter cost? It would be nice to hang them from overpasses (where there are stop lights) and just say, “If you vote Democrat, you are the problem.”

I live close to Mayor Rahm Emanual and there are overpasses like that....

; )

Ryan spoke of telling Americans the truth.
I be most people do not know SS trust is full of IOU’s.
Past Politico spent all the CASH sent to DC.
Now, we have to liquidate the IOU’s by borrowing 42% of the value to get the cash to send to retirees

SS is already toast

To the FReepers that “will not, under any circumstances, vote for Romney,” who will you vote for?

It's called cutting off your nose to spite your face. With a heapin' helpin' of sour grapes. De rigueur these days. Every vote for Romney makes an angel cry.

Oh, and you're a RINO.

This is interesting.

Glad to see you’re still around, btw.

So even a while back seniors were backing the Ryan plan? Now, with an effort to get out the word, I don’t think this Grandma off the cliff will be any believable talking point by the Dems.

Got to keep pointing out that it won’t affect those over 55. I suspect that those over 55 will eventually buy into a private plan per the Ryan plan.

There’s not much scarier than to be elderly, in ill health, and the fear that medical help won’t be available.

Which is something everyone should be able to understand, even the RINOs in our party.
