There were many things that tipped the balance against Rubio. The non-NBC probably did not matter as much, considering that the GOP, Talk Radio, and the GOP media refused to discuss Obama Birth Cert and Eligibility

Romney people must have vetted well....because Rubio would have been a disaster. He is Cuban-Amer, which does not help with the Puerto Rican and Mexican-Amer voters. Rubio is pro-Amnesty/Open Borders. Rubio is also pro-Terrorist (protecting Human Abedin). Rubio also was involved in the Florida GOP credit card fiasco

Contrary to the claims of some of our more Liberal RINO Rubio supporters....a Rubio VP pick would have handed Obama another 4 yrs. The DNC would have gone thru the Rubio political baggage like a corrupt TSA clerk at the airport.

No because Rubio is also a natural born citizen in spite of birther theory.

Rubio's only been on the national scene just over one year. His choice to succeed him in the FL state house was discovered to be corrupt and a close friend of his is under investigation. These are the kinds of distractions that aren't needed in the 2012 campaign even though Rubio is not known to have been involved in wrong doing.

You need not wonder very long. Unfortunately, for us constitutional conservatives, the NBC factor probably never entered the minds of the RINO Romney people. Rather, we lucked out.

Rubio and Jindal are good guys and I wish them successful political careers, but that doesn't make them constitutionally eligible to be VPOTUS or POTUS.
