The media was able, successfully I might add, to portray Gov. Palin as an ignorant hick with zero national political experience and a "weird" (to the fudge packing, carpet munching, had-five-abortions-before-my-designer-daughter-came-along "elites" in New York and LA) family life. I adore the lady but she was ill prepared for the spotlight and very ill served by the bas****s who ran McCain's campaign. Now, based on that past success, they're going to try and portray this politically experienced, intelligent, and extremely articulate All American Irish-Catholic young man as Darth Vader. Lotsa luck with that!
