God, I hope it’s Rubio. I love Ryan but he’s going to be to easy to demonize for the 10% of idiots who flip and flop to decide the presidency.

I’m with you. I like Ryan but it’s a little short-sighted, I think, to take him from his current position where he excels. Additionally, he doesn’t help (and may even hurt) with states like Florida where many Senior see any change, for better or worse, to Social Security or Medicare as the end of the world

I wanted General David Patraeus, he has led our armed forces in tough battles, best choice for someone who had to make presidential decisions as commander-in-chief. Current CIA director, knows foreign policy.
Marco Rubio would be my 2nd choice

I hope Paul Ryan says no, it’s not his time and he’s moving up the ladder to become speaker. He would have to give that up to run for 2nd. Gravitas crap all over again

You are probably right. Democrats have accused Ryan of wanting to take Medicare aware from retirees/elderly. I figure the Democrats will run ads accusing him of that 24/7 in Florida’s large retirement community, thus sinking Romney in Florida. If that happens, it’s over.......and America is finished.
