OK .. what are the downsides of Ryan? Would really like an informed opinion. Is it that Medicare would be revamped?
It won’t affect those in their 60’s .. thanks.

The downsides to Ryan are that he is in Congress and not from FL/OH/VA.

He has never run a business. He has no executive experience, no state or local experience either. In fact, other than spending most of his adult life in the House he hasn't done a lot except work for relatives.

He's only 42. He never served his country.

His wife is a tax attorney.

His father (when Paul was 16), grandfather and great grandfather all died of heart attacks in their 50s.

He's been Obama's whipping boy since Republicans captured the House. He was "featured" throwing grandma over a cliff in a New York race over the Mediscare reform plan. This will not go over well in MUST WIN FL.

Neither man has foreign policy experience so Ryan offers nothing there.

He won't help Romney win Wisconsin.

Ryan is smart and articulate but lacks the kind of depth in experience you'd expect from a modern running mate.

If he's the choice, I'm baffled and I say this as someone who likes Paul Ryan.
