This doesn’t smell right from a simple logic angle. I can’t imagine a supervisor allowing a half-dozen patrol officers to be offline for two hours over a traffic stop. And since when are strip-searches conducted on the side of the road? And I find it hard to believe that you could get six cops who were all stupid enough to think this was a good idea, in the same place at the same time.
That being said, I can’t totally dismiss it. The truth will out.

I got pulled over for a “rolling stop” at a stop sign. The officer said I didn't 100% stop. Heh.
So as I was getting my insurance out of the glove box the officer spied a small plastic baggie. The poor fat old officer nearly gave himself a heart attack running around the car to snatch the baggie out of the glove box. He held it up and said, “Whats this? Whats this? Whats this?”. He was very excited I think.
I said, “I think its little light bulbs.” (My husband is a tech geek)
The cop ripped the plastic bag trying to open it and 100 tiny LED bulbs hit the ground all around his feet.
He didn't say sorry. I didn't get a ticket. My husband bought more LEDs.
So, really now that I think about it... I got off easy!
Someone can be strip searched on the side of the road in FL?? How very humiliating that experience must have been for her. It is truly horrifying what cops seem to be able to get by doing to citizens. Do they no longer have to charge you and take you to jail to strip search you. I thought you had to be arrested for a felony for that kind of intense treatment.
Uncool. We need more COPS and less PIGS.
