Yeah, the rest of what she said was OK, but still, in citing what the woman might otherwise have done to get insurance she dignified the accusation and I think in saying “Romneycare could have saved her” she continued the concept that Romney had some responsibility for this woman’s health.
Basically she gave them a quarter and that should NEVER happen, not with something like this.
Further we certainly don’t want this election to be about Romney care for crying out loud!
Giving the benefit of doubt, she’s just a staff member who certainly has heard a defense Romneycare in her time with the campaign. My antennae go up if I smell a whiff of Mitt backing off his pledge to repeal Obamacare. That’s when I visit my local gun store.
