It’s amazing. Are you actually complaining that Romeny might pick a conservative to be a runningmate? Lieberman is retiring, would you prefer Romney pick him?

If you had read my whole comment you would have had the answer to both your questions. I have mixed feelings about him picking Ryan because he does so well in his present position. The VP is more or less a figurehead. To pull a conservative such as Ryan out of the House would actually be to the benefit of any RINO who is President when they may have to deal with a Republican controlled House.

My question to you would be, who would you prefer in the House. More Paul Ryans or no Paul Ryans and all John Boehners?

Liebermann may be retiring but there's no reason why you would imply that he's the only one anybody should pick to be Romney's VP (though I would not put it past him).

Why would you think of choosing Joe Lieberman as VP when Sarah Palin (one of my top choices) is available?

If it would left up to me, I would have Ryan as Speaker of the House. But it isn't. I apologize for my snarky comment, what I said about Lieberman was out of frustration. I think Ryan would be excellent since he is a conservative (100 from NRLC; 91 lifetime from ACU: A from NRA; 75 from Heritage) with 14 years in the House and he technically proficient. We need people with not only the right ideas but to be competent.
