U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
Maybe, but the former USSR has everyone beat.
RED-WHITE-and-BLUE China in your face!!!!
Anglo-Saxonia (USA, UK, NZ, AU, CA) destroys the Soviets.
Combined US-UK medals are ahead of the Evil Axis of China-Russia by 6.....Go Anglosphere!

Technically, Jamaica is also part of the Anglosphere as well.
Especially since all of their runners train in the U.S.
-- 49 Gold 44 Silver 42 Brone - 135 Medals
India?
Correct. A quick add comes up with ~ 91 medals from all former USSR countries.
Imagine what it will be like when China finally splits apart.
FReegards!
Ok, we’ll toss in India’s 4 medals.
Spoiler alert would have been nice!!!!!!!!
Signed,
All that DVR’ed it to watch this evening. Somebody always has to pee in the punchbowl.
Let's throw in the Aussies, the Kiwis and the Canadians in there too. Heck, why not the Jamaicans? They speak English and then we get Usain Bolt and rest of those great Jamaican sprinters on the team!
The Russians can add Syria, Iran and North Korea - just to make it fair.
GOLD!
This would take alot of research; but, I suspect that the number of athletes from all the old Soviet nations also has everyone beat....and there are more opportunities to win medals.
For example, if the US were to split into two nations, we could field an additional basketball team, and win another medal...could field two more beach volleyball teams, could field an additional men and women volleyball team....have an additional gymnast in each individual event.
So, I’m not sure its a fair comparison to just add up the medal count from the old Soviet nations...unless the medals are in different events.
Here’s the thing, name me one Chinese athlete who has won a medal? They win in all of the sports nobody cares about, like Badminton, Table Tennis and Shooting, all of the obscure sports, but they haven’t done anything in the major events, outside of Gymnastics, and maybe a few medals in Swimming/Diving....They’ve done nothing in Track and Field.
Btw. Congratulations to the USA for another excellent olympics.
Pity about that new soccer star of yours, Alex Morgan.
What a terribly misguided young woman she is:
It’s funner just to do them, because they are the top four countries in medals.
BTW What the heck happened to Germany?
